Education

The educational sector is renowned as a very important driver of economic growth around the world and while it is acknowledged as a basic pre-requisite for the integration of society, millions of children around the world yet lack access to formal literacy and are thus unable to unleash their potential on the bank of information, skills acquisition and communication. In Africa and especially the developing world, high poverty rates have not helped to stimulate the development of human resources toward the local needs of communities. Learn more about what we are doing and what we can do to step up the literacy rates on the continent.

Investing in education and skill development is key to unleashing the power of African youth. Equipping young people with quality education and relevant skills empowers them to become active contributors to society and the economy.

As custodians of the future, African youth must be actively involved in preserving the continent’s natural resources and addressing climate change.

Promoting social cohesion and peacebuilding initiatives is essential to ensure stability and progress in Africa. Youth development programs that foster intercultural understanding, tolerance, and conflict resolution skills can contribute to building peaceful societies and breaking the cycle of violence.

Investing in education, entrepreneurship, leadership, healthcare, environmental stewardship, technology, and peacebuilding will create a generation of empowered, engaged, and proactive young Africans. By nurturing this potential, Africa can unlock its path to sustainable progress, economic prosperity, and a brighter future for all its people. Policymakers, civil society, and private sectors must collaborate and prioritize youth development to unleash the full potential of Africa’s youth and secure the continent’s rightful place on the global stage.
