About Me
In 2022, Peter Imouokhome was one of only 20 young, emerging Nigerian leaders granted a fellowship by the Said Business School, University of Oxford, UK and FMDQ Group to undergo a four months intensive Young Entrepreneurship Leadership Programme (YELP), featuring masterclasses and roundtable discussions with world leaders and peers to proffer solutions to some of the most pressing economic challenges including rising poverty, decent work and economic growth, literacy, food insecurity, structural, infrastructural and financing deficits, climate change, and gender inequality that developing nations like Nigeria face today.
An alumnus of McKinsey & Company’s prestigious 2021 Inaugural Forward program, growing through the foundation, advanced and network levels, he also obtained the British Council certificate of achievement for Ideas for a better world: Leading change through Policy Making and Communicating across Cultures.
In 2022, Peter published his book: Some Things Never Go Away Author of the book: ‘Some Things Never Go Away’ whuch gives a vivid description of the New Nigeria that enthrones Justice, Fairness, Love, Equity and Development.
He is a graduate of Economics and Statistics, who is keen on innovative and technological approaches to solving economic challenges and has over 40 thought-provoking, and innovative economic articles published in widely read Nigerian newspapers, online media, and journals.
He previously worked as Senior Economic Analyst with leading print media house in West Africa – BusinessDay Media Limited where he was at the forefront of reporting on economic themes while also interfacing directly with leading policy experts and leaders in Nigeria and beyond.
He is a full member of the Nigerian Economic Society and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria.
Peter is also a Project Manager, Data and Business Intelligence professional who has a track record of delivering a rich blend of elegant business writing and informed data analysis – effectively translating research and insights into business decisions. He is passionate about strategy and business development and has years of experience – in the financial services industry – enabling and contributing to corporate growth by deploying in-class, fact-based and customer-centric Project Management, Business Process Improvement, Strategy Execution, and Change Management capabilities and skills.
Currently, Peter is a Senior Technology Consultant with foremost Big-four firm – PwC Nigeria.
